Lactate step test at the Schulthess Clinic

Lactate step test in the performance diagnostics of the Schulthess Clinic.
In June I started my challenge to optimize my running training, with the support of the friendly, competent performance diagnostics team at the Schulthess Clinic
As an enthusiastic runner, I always want to push my own training forward and make it varied. So I started a challenge against myself. My goal is to move the anaerobic threshold up and at the same time lower the lactate levels. The particular challenge is the lactate step test on the treadmill. Why such a lactate step test?
With a clear goal, running training is simply more fun! You can see for yourself how you can plan an effectively controlled training session with a precise determination of your current state and what successes you can achieve with it.
After the first evaluations of my lactate step test on the treadmill in June, I adjusted my training based on the data. I removed two running training units from the training plan and tweaked my training variations a little.
During the second lactate step test after 14 weeks, I could see that I had achieved more with less effort. The anaerobic threshold performance had improved. These positive results increased the fun and motivation factor for me again. I am already looking forward to the next test
I combine the insights from the challenge with my many years of practical experience in controlled training.
I would like to thank the performance diagnostics team at the Schulthess Clinic for their excellent care.
